Preposition of Place (Kata Depan Tempat) diletakkan sebelum kata benda untuk menjelaskan hubungan posisi fisik suatu benda atau orang terhadap objek lain di sekitarnya.
A. Perbedaan Utama: IN, ON, dan AT
Banyak pembelajar bingung karena ketiganya sering diterjemahkan sebagai "di". Perhatikan skala cakupan lokasinya berikut ini:

B. Preposisi Posisi Relatif
• The cat is sleeping under the table.
(Kucing sedang tidur di bawah meja.)
• The bank is next to the supermarket.
(Bank ada di sebelah supermarket.)
• There is a big tree in front of my house.
(Ada pohon besar di depan rumah saya.)
• The garden is behind the school building.
(Taman ada di belakang gedung sekolah.)
• The pharmacy is between the hospital and the restaurant.
(Apotek terletak di antara rumah sakit dan restoran.)
Perhatikan Perbedaan 'In Front Of' & 'Behind':
• In front of artinya berhadapan atau berada tepat di bagian depan sesuatu.
• Behind artinya berada di bagian belakang atau tertutup oleh objek lain di depannya.

Searching for My Lost Glasses
This morning, I woke up late and could not find my reading glasses anywhere in my bedroom. I checked on the wooden study desk, but they were not there. I also looked inside my school bag, but I only found my notebooks and a pen.
Then, I asked my younger brother for help. He looked under the bed and behind the big wardrobe. Suddenly, our cat jumped off the chair next to the bookshelf, and my brother saw something shiny on the soft rug under the chair.
There they were! My reading glasses were lying between two small cushions on the floor right in front of the window. I smiled happily, thanked my brother, and quickly left for school at seven o'clock.
