To Be adalah kata penghubung antara subjek dengan kata benda (*noun*), kata sifat (*adjective*), atau keterangan tempat (*adverb of place*). *To Be* digunakan ketika kalimat **tidak memiliki kata kerja aksi** (seperti *makan, membaca, berlari*).
